GW 2010 Brainstorming Meeting Invite
Hello All!
I would like to both extend an invitation and enlist your help in Global Week 2010 programming. As a part of each Global Week experience we dedicate a portion of the time for outside speakers. The theme for January 2010 is "Peace and Conflict." You can read more about our organizing topics on the Global Week website. (Note: You should be able to access it without having to sign in. If not, let me know.)
As enthusiastic supporters of our work on campus and in your various roles in CSA, I felt that you would be a terrific group to bring together as we have overlapping interests in bringing outside guests to Castilleja who can engage our community in ideas that catalyze curiosity and inspire new thinking and which exposes us to new perspectives.
I would like to have one* representative from Parent Ed and one* from PDA at the meeting if possible. I also hope to have a way for anyone who is unable to be on campus to join in through a call in number.
I will select a date and time with the most "yes" RSVPs. Should a new date need to be identified, I will be in touch again.
If you are unable to participate and are interested in helping to support the speaker effort, let me know and we can follow up separately.
And finally, your participation in this first meeting does not mean that you have "signed up" to do the work to investigate potential speakers further. (Although, I hope that you will be interested in helping!)
